Since 1996, the
International Board of Standards and the Academy has been promoting graduate training and standards for
certification. Since our inception with the founding of the Graduate Institute of Leadership in 1996, the
Academy has been focused on quality assurance with accredited education, exams, assessment, education, ethics, and
continuing education. Further, applicants must have the necessary experience in research and
publications in the area of public policy and political analysis.
Aspen Commission offers credentials, certification and qualifications
to those who have accredited courses, assessments and degrees and
relevant experience and continuing education. Under
Executive Order 13932—Modernizing and Reforming the Assessment and Hiring of Federal Job Candidates, The AAPM
credentials and qualficiations are equivalent to degree or diplomas from top colleges worlwide as per their
specific nature and focus on skills relevant to government service and productivity.

The Board of Standards has been awarded ISO
21001 Certification. ISO 21001:2018 specifies requirements for a management system for educational organizations
(EOMS) when such an organization:a) needs to demonstrate its ability to support the acquisition and development of
competence through teaching, learning or research; b) aims to enhance satisfaction of learners, other beneficiaries
and staff through the effective application of its EOMS, including processes for improvement of the system and
